Get to Know Dr. Desmond Foster

Dr. Foster is passionate about creating beautiful smiles for his patients in Lawrenceville. Born and raised in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, Dr. Foster is proud to be a Georgia native. After graduating from Lithonia High School, he began shadowing his childhood dentist. Dr. Foster immediately fell in love with orthodontia and knew it was his calling. Building meaningful relationships with the community while utilizing science and art are both subjects he's passionate about.

Dr. Foster attended Alabama State University, where he received his B.S. degree in biology. He went on to study at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, where he received his D.M.D. Next, he received his Orthodontics Certificate and M.S. in oral biology from the University of Florida, College of Dentistry. Dr. Foster is passionate about education and hopes to always continue to learn and provide high-quality care to his patients.

Today, Dr. Foster loves helping his patients achieve beautiful, natural smiles they are proud of. He is grateful that he is able to make a positive influence in his community and in the lives of his patients and team members.   

Outside of the office, Dr. Foster is also passionate about sports, art, and traveling, and is always on the lookout for his next adventure.

Here’s What to Expect

When you visit our office for the first time, you’ll be greeted by a warm welcome from our front desk staff. If you haven’t already completed our new patient forms, our staff will guide you through completing those.

Next, we will start your initial consultation. The first visit is all about getting to know you, your smile goals, and your lifestyle. From there, if you wish to proceed with treatment we may take some scans and begin working with you to develop your custom treatment plan and get you one step closer to your dream smile.

We are eternally grateful for the support that our community gives us, and in return, we strive to give back and be a pillar in the greater Gwinnett area and Lawrenceville. As such, we are proud to help support The Creative Academy.

The mission of The Creative Academy is to teach, engage, and prepare high school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in the creative arts industries, such as Music Production, Photography, and Video Production. Additionally, students will learn and implement essential skills, including financial literacy, computer literacy, and community service. Located in Gwinnett County, The Creative Academy aims to empower students and provide them with the resources they need to succeed.
